The Civil Resolution Tribunal – Online Dispute Resolution Tools
This presentation will provide an overview of the CRT's online dispute resolution process beginning with the Solution Explorer. This online tool uses guided pathways, and interactive questions and answers, to provide free legal information, template letters, and worksheets. The Solution Explorer leads to an online application form if the user decides they want to make a CRT claim. In this presentation you'll also learn about the CRT's secure online platform. Participants involved in a dispute can log into their CRT account to negotiate, upload evidence, and submit their written arguments about their claim. Tribunal members can view the evidence and arguments in the secure platform and make their decision. CRT decisions are posted publicly in a searchable database at civilresolutionbc.ca
The Civil Resolution Tribunal (CRT) is Canada’s first online tribunal. It’s part of the British Columbia justice system and offers an accessible, affordable way to resolve disputes without needing a lawyer or attending court. The CRT has jurisdiction over most strata claims in BC and encourages a collaborative approach to resolving disputes. The CRT offers free legal information and self-help tools to assist the public in resolving disputes as early as possible. If a claim is made and participants can’t reach an agreement by negotiation or facilitation, a CRT tribunal member will make a decision about their claim. Eligibility for Attendance: The "B.C. Strata Tech" event is open to the public and is free to attend.
Mode of Event: The event will be conducted solely online and attendees are required to register in order to access the live event and any recorded material thereafter.

Newsletter Subscription: Upon registering for the "B.C. Strata Tech" event, attendees shall be subscribed to receive newsletters from the event organizers. Attendees shall have the right to unsubscribe from receiving said newsletters at any time.
Collection of Personal Information: Property Flute Ltd shall collect the email address and any additional information provided by attendees during the registration process for the "B.C. Strata Tech" event.
Use of Personal Information: The collected personal information shall be used for the purpose of delivering "B.C. Strata Tech" newsletters to the attendees.
Confidentiality of Personal Information: Property Flute Ltd shall take all reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality and security of the personal information collected from attendees.
